this website is called Diply. all the website does is show you cool things.

the website style is very simplistic with only a navigation bar at the top of the screen and some recomended links on the side.

i like this website because of how simple it is. you can view anything you want by either using the search bar or the very simple category select.

this website is called magic seaweed. this website lets people share surfing photos and videos. it also lets you check weather aspects like swell, surf, period, wind, sea temp, pressure and jetstream throughout the week. it also offers imformation on beaches in the area and tells you the difficulty of the beach and rating

this website has a small navigation bar on the top of the screen that let you select basic categories like photos or videos. it also has a large recommended tab that shows you the most trending things on the sight.
I like this website because it is simple to navigate. I also like the fact that the sight has the option to upload your own pictures and videos. the weather check feature is also very useful and the use of the timeline and map makes it much easier to predict weather pasterns.

this website is called soundcloud. this site lets people upload their music and have others listen to it.
this websites style is very simplistic with only a search bar on the top and the title of the song with the audio spectrum in the upload section.

i like this site because of how it lets you find new music aswell as keeping up with your favourite artists new content

when making my website i used tumblr. i used tumblr because i liked the simplistic style and ease of use when it came to making the blog/site.

body shape

in this lesson i had to draw a guide for a humanoid style of body.

to start off i drew the out a basic skeleton of a humanoid style body. i used a guide to try and keep it looking the same. after drawing the skeleton i used it to draw a more in detailed body of a person. after finishing the basics of the person i begain to add the extra details like body definitions .

after drawing the guide i started on my super hero. i only got onto starting the outlined of the character using my guide as a reference.

i enjoyed this lesson but i would have prefered to be able to spend more time on finishing my character.

game sprites

i had to do a sprite image of a game character based on ground hogs day using the game chips challenge as a reference.
i chose to make my character a ground hog. before drawing the character i researched images of ground-hogs to get ideas for shape and colour.

i then drew a front back left and right image of the ground-hog character  using pixel art.

after doing this i then drew an advanced version of the pixel art i drew an advanced version of the pixel art i drew in a hand drawn style

i enjoyed this activity but wish i was able to get more work done. i would have liked to try drawing some objects instead of characters but i did not have enough time.

super hero grid

 using a grid i took an original image and copyed it by focusing on specific parts inside of certain areas.

i finished a total of 5 squares but if given more time i would have liked to have finished more.

fairytale cartoons

 to begin with i researched grim tales. after looking at multiple tales i decided on little red riding hood.

i had to draw three different images of both a dark and then a childish version of the same character.
I did not manage to finish all three of the images for i had broken hands and this made the drawing portion difficult. i spent a little bit too long on my childish drawing.

if i were to do things differently i would have took less time on the childish drawing and added more detail to the horror version

 these were the images i used as source materials. i used the first picture to get the idea for the pose of my dark drawing. for the childish drawing i used the second picture as a reference point for the face style

scribble drawing

i first looked at an ink patterns and wrote down what i could see in the ink pattern. then after doing that i chose one ink pattern and drew a sketch of what i saw.

 i then drew some random scribbles and used them to get ideas for characters. i then drew an outline of the key parts of the character and continued to ad detail.


















i continued to do this until i had multiple drawings of different creatures using the scribbles.

 i took an image of a dog and drew it in a cartoon style. i kept key features of the dog so that it stays recognisable
